Kev and Emma complete South America
December 9, 2015
Having been away for 300 days and driven over 20,000 kilometres, Kevin and Emma are now well into their travel adventure and about to leave South America.
Their Nissan Patrol has survived well with extra security added to windows and the replacement of the windscreen but some awesome roads travelled. Their Tradesman Oval Alloy roof rack has endured the roughest of South American roads without a problem.
Starting in Buenos Aires they travelled south in Argentina as far as Peninsula Valdes before heading across to the west coast. Arriving in Chile they visited the amazing marble caves at Lake General Carrera before country hopping between Bolivia, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador as they headed south and visited some fabulous locations. They loved Patagonia and took a detour to the Galapagos Islands for 12 days before heading north to Colombia for a well earned rest.
Emma made a quick visit to Australia and has now returned to continue the trip north.
Follow their adventures on their blog.
